“Good Vintage Condition”. That’s what some vintage and second hand sellers claim it to be. In my opinion a hazy phrase to cover up explaining that an item has a small hole, mark or some discolouring.
Honestly I’ve actually had enough of receiving items that are not as described. It’s getting tiring, having pictures that are misleading, hiding faults on items to then have them turn up not as shown or described. I’m genuinely confused as to what sellers think will happen, do they all honestly believe that people won’t say anything and will just accept it or in fact is that what buyers are actually doing at this very moment?
Another one “These items are pre worn so some wear is to be expected”. That also means absolutely nothing to me, a tee from 1980 could have been worn but only once so the condition is basically brand new, no defects no nothing. On the other hand a tee from 1999 could have been worn to the bone at which point of course some wear is to be expected along with a hole for or some marks for example.
Instead of this airing over the facts with bullshit how about just telling the truth about the condition of the item through both words and pictures? Yeah you’re right it will turn some people off from making a purchase but wouldn’t you rather someone come back as opposed to talk bad on your brands name because the tee didn’t turn up as it should have done? Personally I’d rather not have to deal with the later so every time I list something everything is explained, holes, marks, discolouring. If I see it you’ll know about it.
